United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and non-partisan organization based in New York City, which works to expose, counter, and confront the regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran, its proxies, and partners. UANI educates the public, policymakers, and businesses about the danger posed by the Iranian regime and designs programs to ensure its economic and diplomatic isolation until it abandons its pursuit of nuclear weapons, support for terrorism, regional destabilization, and human rights violations.
UANI is seeking well-qualified candidates with excellent writing, research, and organizational skills to intern for one or more of the following workstreams: policy and research (with a particular focus on the IRGC, Iran-backed terrorist groups, Iranian malign influence, human rights, the nuclear program, military and defense, inter alia); business and corporate intelligence and economic pressure; maritime tracking and analysis; operations; communications, and; graphic design.
UANI interns will have the opportunity to make meaningful, direct contributions to UANI’s diverse array of policy, research, and advocacy initiatives, in collaboration with leading practitioners and experts. Where possible, UANI leadership will facilitate work that corresponds to interns' areas of interest. UANI intern schedules are flexible and available for remote work. Immediate start preferred. This is an unpaid position. Outstanding interns may be considered for ongoing employment opportunities with UANI.
