Premiere Screening of Documentary on U.S. Seizure of the Suez Rajan and Iran's Sanctions Evasion

Coinciding with the UN General Assembly

(New York, NY) – United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) invites members of the press and special guests to attend the exclusive premiere of a compelling new documentary produced by Iran International TV, shedding light on Iran's illicit oil shipping operations and the historic U.S. seizure of the Suez Rajan vessel in 2023. This must-see screening will take place during the opening of the U.N. General Assembly (UNGA), coinciding with the address to UNGA by the Iranian regime’s new president.

The event will feature a message from Governor Jeb Bush, UANI’s recently appointed chairman, and remarks from U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan (R-AK), a prominent voice for strict sanctions enforcement, appointed by President Biden as the U.S. representative to the 79th Session of the UNGA. Senator Sullivan will discuss the global significance of Iran's sanctions evasion, its impact on international security, and its alignment with Russia’s war in Ukraine.

This powerful documentary, set against the backdrop of UANI’s Tanker Tracking Program, provides a behind-the-scenes account of the Suez Rajan case, revealing how Iran employs a fleet of "ghost ships" to circumvent sanctions, generating illicit revenue to fund terrorist organizations like Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. 

Through advanced satellite imagery and data analysis, UANI has played a pivotal role in exposing these activities and supporting global sanctions enforcement.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring experts and key figures involved in the case, offering exclusive insights into Iran's oil-smuggling network and the broader implications for global security.
