UANI Responds to Iranian Foreign Ministry's Erroneous Statements About UANI and Iran's Nuclear Program
New York, NY - United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) CEO, Ambassador Mark D. Wallace, issued the following statement Thursday in response to Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alireza Miryusefi's comments about UANI to NBC News:
The Iranian Foreign Ministry's statements about UANI and Iran's nuclear program are patently false and the latest propaganda from an illicit regime now being confronted with a sanctioned and crumbling economy. The global community is united in its opposition to Iran's pursuit of a nuclear weapon, and no serious world actor thinks the regime has peaceful intentions.
The Iranian regime's propaganda, no matter how persistent, cannot conceal its illicit nuclear program, its state sponsorship of terrorism, and its brutal repression of its own people. We call on all responsible businesses to join the economic blockade of this illegitimate regime.
