Khan-Mohammadi, Ali
Spokesman for the Headquarters for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (which is sanctioned by Canada for human rights abuses), which "[carries] out cultural and educational programs to institutionalize the state’s interpretations of morality and virtues" and is involved closely in President Raisi's harsher enforcement of hijab regulations.1
Khan-Mohammadi said in early December 2022 that enforcement of mandatory hijab will continue, and that "the riots are over, and in a few weeks the hijab violators and norm breakers will be dealt with." He also said that new "technologies" could be used to enforce hijab wearing.2
