Deputy commander, Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), 2022–present.1
The Intelligence Organization controls a section of Evin Prison (Evin is sanctioned under Executive Order 13553 "where prisoners are reportedly routinely subjected to physical and psychological torture."2
The IRGC is also sanctioned under EO 13553. Siari meets that EO's standard of having "acted or purported to act for or on behalf of, directly or indirectly, any person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order."
